The Test Subject (2022–2025)

Across the span of my undergraduate years, one subject remained constant: a friend who became collaborator. The Test Subject is a visual study shaped by trust, improvisation, and repetition — the same face reframed through studio light, city shadow, and quiet apartment corners. These images chart my evolution as a photographer, tracing experiments in style and technical growth while capturing a dynamic relationship between artist and subject. The series moves between posed and unposed, cinematic and candid, fiction and familiarity — revealing the ways in which a person can become both constant and new with each frame.
